Taj Mahal and Agra Fort- contributions of the Mughal Dynasty

TAJ MAHAL

The stunningly beautiful and unforgettable  architectural amazement and love monument built for Mumtas Mahal by emperor Shajahan of the Mughal Dynasty even today remains as one of the wonders of the world. The city of Agra in Utter Pradesh, and the banks of river Yamuna attrcted millions of visitors from all over the world just because of Taj Mahal. Shahjahan, until his death used to view this monument from Red Fort where he was detained by his son.
Visiting Taj Mahal is by all means an emotional treat. We skipped the impact of the scorching Sun by starting our journey to the world famous monument at 6 am. I had visited Taj mahal in 1978 with my husband Rajeevan. At that time Taj Mahal was seen in pure white marble. Alas! now it has grown yellow. I wish the government would have protected this world famous monument in a much better way. Still it is beautiful and wonderful to see.
